QUICK RECIPE OVERVIEW

Why you’ll love my Balsamic Vinaigrette

  • Made with just a handful of everyday ingredients, this easy vinaigrette comes together in minutes. It's a flavorful, versatile dressing that's perfect for everyday salads and meal prep.

What Makes It So Flavorful?

Balsamic vinegar adds a rich, slightly sweet tang, while Dijon mustard and garlic bring depth. A touch of honey balances the acidity, and olive oil gives the dressing a smooth, silky finish.

Helpful Tips

  • Make it your own: Start with 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard and add more for a tangier flavor.

  • Add fresh herbs: Try chopped parsley, basil, or thyme for a fresh twist.

  • Storage: Refrigerate in a sealed jar for up to 4–5 days. Let sit at room temperature briefly if the olive oil solidifies, then shake well before serving.

My favorite way to enjoy it: Toss with mixed greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, chickpeas, and a sprinkle of feta for a simple Mediterranean-inspired salad.

  • Before Serving: Olive oil may solidify when chilled. Let the dressing sit at room temperature briefly, then shake well before serving.

  • Serving Ideas: Delicious over mixed greens, spinach and strawberries, caprese salad, roasted vegetables, or grilled chicken.

Nourish & Rooted Tip: Keep a jar of homemade vinaigrette in the fridge to make everyday meals feel a little more special. A simple, flavorful dressing can turn even the most basic salad into something delicious!
